AAFD Announces new dates for its annual Franchisee Leadership Summit
AAFD to Celebrate Its 30 Year Anniversary During Summit Dates on September 10th – 13th in Arizona
(Palm Desert, CA,) June 20, 2022 – American Association of Franchisees and Dealers (AAFD), a national trade association advocating for franchisees and independent dealers, today announced new dates for its annual Franchisee Leadership Summit, which will gather chapter leaders, affiliated associations, related businesses, franchisee attorneys, along with federal, state, and local lawmakers on September 10th through 13th in Mesa, Arizona.
“We are ecstatic to resume our planning the AAFD annual Franchisee Leadership Summit and to gather members and friends in-person again,” says Robert Purvin, AAFD chairman and founder. “This year will be especially special as we will also recognize and celebrate AAFD’s 30th anniversary, and we are most appreciative of the support our many sponsors, and especially our lead Sponsor, Zarco, Einhorn, Salkowski and Brito, who make our Franchisee Leadership Summit possible.”
When the AAFD was formed in 1992, there were only a handful of franchisee associations, and “collaboration” was an unknown term. Over the last 30 years, the AAFD has promulgated its Fair Franchising Standards; formed scores of associations; fostered positive working relationships between franchisors and franchisees; and granted the prestigious Fair Franchising Seal to several forward-thinking franchisors.
“We have a great program lined up to include the opportunity to engage federal and state governments, highest levels of the Federal Trade Commission, top franchisee attorneys, in addition to many other special and exciting events,” said Richard Stroiney, AAFD executive director and chief operating officer.
Attending the AAFD Annual Conference provides attendees with critical updates on advocacy and legislative initiatives, best practices and educational sessions, as well as networking opportunities with the nation’s top franchisee attorneys, franchisees from many different franchise systems, supplier members, and AAFD staff.
The AAFD Franchisee Leadership Summit will be held on September 10th to 13th and will offer franchisees with industry-related seminars, keynote speaking listening sessions, network opportunities, and a fun and exciting franchising awards gala.
