Congratulations to CFA for its 2021 Legal Symposium
The AAFD congratulates the Coalition of Franchisee Association’s (CFA) two-day Coalition of Franchisee Association 2021 Legal Symposium hosted in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas early this month. The two-day event featured some of the best and brightest franchise attorneys in the country – several of whom are also AAFD Franchisee LegaLine affiliates – including Zarco Einhorn Salkowski & Brito, Marks & Klein, Fisher Phillips, Laner Muchin, and Dady & Gardner. Not only did the attorneys discuss franchising issues but they were accessible to one-on-one questions from participating franchisees.
There was also a legislative/regulatory session remotely featuring Carol Wayman from Senator Cortez Masto’s office, Syd Terry from Rep. Schakowsky’s office, and attorney Thomas Ayres representing NCASEF. The session was moderated by Keith Miller, CFA Director and the AAFD’s Director of Public Affairs and Engagement.
A highlight of the event was the appearance from Senator Cortez Masto, who has been a legislative champion of franchisee issues in Congress.
