Robert L. Purvin, Jr. is a California Certified Franchise Law Specialist, and has practiced law for 40 years.In addition to being Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the AAFD, Mr. Purvin is Co-Chair of the AAFD Fair Franchising Standards Committee and serves on the Franchise Law Committee of the State Bar of California. Mr. Purvin serves on the Board of the Franchise Mediation Program and is an approved mediator for franchise disputes on the CPR Center for Dispute Resolution Franchising Panel. He is the author of the book, The Franchise Fraud, How to Protect Yourself Before and After You Invest.
