Federal judge in Texas blocks the NLRB’s revised Joint Employer Rule from taking effect

In case you missed it, on March 8 a Federal judge in Texas blocked the NLRB’s revised Joint Employer Rule from taking effect, ruling that the new standard was too broad. NLRB’s website states it is considering its options and may appeal the ruling. The 2020 version of the Rule remains in effect. Click here to read the NLRB’s full comments.

The AAFD has been advocating a middle ground and we will be advancing our proposal for the NLRB’s consideration. We are again linking the AAFD’s White Paper on the Joint Employer controversy.
