This is a small but very important victory for franchisees everywhere. Notwithstanding a major opposition from the International Franchise Association, franchisee interests I have received a major boost from the California Assembly. Now back to the Senate to approve the amended bill, and onto the governor’s desk.
The AAFD is a national non-profit trade association representing the rights and interests of franchisees and independent dealers throughout the United States. We do this by promoting fair and equitable franchising and dealer practices and empowering effective independent franchise associations. We also provide members with programs, services and products which enhance their individual businesses and careers.
